The Friends of Forsyth Nature Center and the City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce our 12th Annual Fall Festival. This Festival will feature live entertainment, music, crafts, children’s games and activities, delicious foods and baked goods, raffles, hayrides and much more.

Live Music on our Main Stage

Children’s Programs at the Reading Nook!

All proceeds directly benefit the Forsyth Nature Center

The Forsyth Nature Center is located off of Lucas Avenue and adjacent to Dietz Stadium in historic Uptown, Kingston, NY.

Kingston Kayak Festival - Saturday, June 14, 2014

Kingston Point Beach, Kingston, NY - 10am-4pm, Admission $10, proceeds benefit Kingston's Environmental Education Programs

2014 Schedule - Weekly Tours Begin 5/24/14        All tours are $30 for Kingston Residents, $40 for non-residents. If you have your own boat, a $10 discount will apply.

Good Morning Paddle        Every Saturday Morning        8:30am-10:30am    Kingston Point Beach

Spend your morning paddiling the Hudson River. Wildlife abounds during these paddles. Eagles, osprey, turtles keep the group



 Starting 6/20 - August 29th

Up the Creek        Every Friday Evening                        5:30-7:30pm    T.R. Gallo Park

Join us for a wonderful urban paddle on the Rondout Creek. These trips will explore the wildlife and history of the Rondout, including the

barges and bridges. What a better way to spend a Friday evening than relaxing on the creek!
