The City of Kingston Parks and Recreation Department's Second Annual Green Friday Event on Friday, November 29th from 11am-2pm at the Forsyth Nature Center in uptown Kingston.

This green alternative to the busiest shopping day of the year will allow community members to learn about a variety of environmentally conscious lifestyle choices and products that will be sure to inspire and inform, most of which can be purchased locally
Pre-Registration is welcomed. Parking is available at the Nature Center's Dietz Stadium Entrance and/or the Lucas Avenue Entrance to Forsyth Park. Visit or call 845-481-7336.
Highlights include a Green Infrastructure tour at 11:30, Rain Barrel Class at 12:30 and Birdwalk at 1:15pm

Kingston Kayak Festival - Saturday, June 14, 2014

2014 Schedule - Weekly Tours Begin 5/24/14        All tours are $30 for Kingston Residents, $40 for non-residents. If you have your own boat, a $10 discount will apply.

Good Morning Paddle        Every Saturday Morning        8:30am-10:30am    Kingston Point Beach

Spend your morning paddiling the Hudson River. Wildlife abounds during these paddles. Eagles, osprey, turtles keep the group



 Starting 6/20 - August 29th

Up the Creek        Every Friday Evening                        5:30-7:30pm    T.R. Gallo Park

Join us for a wonderful urban paddle on the Rondout Creek. These trips will explore the wildlife and history of the Rondout, including the

barges and bridges. What a better way to spend a Friday evening than relaxing on the creek!
